This CD came at the perfect time. With all that has been going on in our world lately, it was refreshing to hear new songs that just spoke to me. I absolutely love Matthew’s “why” for creating this album and his heart behind it! If I’m being completely honest, most CD’s I review I’m able to find a song or two that I love, but its very rare that I find an entire album that speaks to me. That was not the case with All In. I love how music unites and resonates with people. In times of troubles, with the right lyrics, it can create a feeling of compassion and togetherness.

The song for which this entire album is named after, All In, captures exactly where I am at in life right now.

With my blog, I’m sure you’ve noticed a little bit of rebranding lately. I am slowly rebranding from Frugal Southern Living to Mommy Love Media. I’ve had this named picked out for seven years. Before I ever thought of becoming a Mom, before I knew my husband and step children, even before I knew exactly what I was going to do with it.  I am taking that leap of faith and going with the new name, so that I can reach more people. I want Mommy Love Media to be able to help thousands! I want to reach and help Christian Wives, Police Wives and Moms/Dads in all walks of life. I don’t want to just focus on coupons & deals anymore – I want to share my faith, our life and our journey’s with you.

With my faith, I have reached the hunger stage. I want to know Him more. I want to share Him more. I want to live Him more. I’m All In!

With my family, dealing with Postpartum Depression the last ten months has definitely not been easy. I am starting to see now that I am the only one standing in my way. I am ready to be All In for my family – they need me to be the best wife, mother, daughter, sister, Aunt that I can be and I need them.

In the community.. my family and I are All In. Just yesterday, we launched our “Faith-full Hearts for Puerto Rico” Fundraiser. Please take a look and share, even if you are unable to contribute financially! Our family is definitely All In and wanting to help Puerto Rico and our local communities as much as possible. We should be pulling together as a community, as a nation, to help one another and this song just reminded me that of it that much more!

Matthew’s Heart Behind the Album:

Matthew wrote his new album All In with the goal of encouraging himself and others to get up off the sidelines of their faith and really live it out – to go all in your time with God, all in with your family, all in with your community and all in battling your fears that may hold you back from becoming who God made you to be. Matthew will be launching a 6-week All In Challenge on his social media starting 9/18. Each week Matthew will be challenging his fans to go all in – in a different part of their lives. What does it look like when a heart that knows Jesus takes a step back and holds nothing back? How can we go All In in the places that mean the most?

Follow Matthew West on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to keep up with the All In Challenge and more!

I have so many favorites on this album! I absolutely loved All In, Something Greater and The Beautiful Things We Miss. We have been teaching our 10 month old to say Amen and while she doesn’t speak it yet, when you say Amen she throws her hand up in the air to praise Jesus. So the song, Amen was definitely a fun, upbeat song to listen to with her!

I also loved Jesus & You, because I immediately thought of my husband while listening to this song. Besides Jesus, he is definitely my rock and lighthouse in a hurricane. This is an absolutely beautiful song you must listen to!
